Dee Lincoln, often referred to as the “Queen of Steaks,” is recognized as a female powerhouse in the male-dominated steakhouse business.

Born on the Fourth of July and raised in New Orleans, Lincoln has garnered local, regional and national recognition for her many achievements, including the coveted Restaurants and Institutions’ Ivy Award, the winner of which is selected by restaurant industry peers across the country.

Among others, Lincoln also has earned The Texas Restaurant Association’s Restaurateur of the Year Award; Savor Dallas‘ Spirit Award; Dallas Business Journal’s Top Women in Business Award; Northwood University’s Distinguished Women Award; and Nation’s Restaurant News’ Fine Dining Award.

Lincoln’s humble entrance into the restaurant industry can be traced back to a single Del Frisco’s Steakhouse in New Orleans. In the early 1980s, a second location was opened in the Dallas area. By 1993, the two restaurants were consolidated with a new name – Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse – and even better location – the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and Spring Valley in Dallas.

Two years later, the steakhouse Lincoln co-founded was sold to a publicly-traded company, Lone Star Steakhouse, and she became vice president of Operations. Intrigued by CEO Jamie Coulter’s vision, she assisted in the expansion of the brand into Fort Worth, Denver, New York, and Las Vegas.

In 2006, the company transitioned back to a privately-held company with continued expansion into Charlotte, Houston, and Philadelphia.

Three years later, Lincoln was eager to take her 30 years of experience and ever-present entrepreneurial spirit in a new direction. So, she resigned to launch the Dee Lincoln Brand and with it, Dee Lincoln’s Tasting Room & Bubble Bar at the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium, the first wine and champagne lounge of its kind to be located in a sports arena. Soon thereafter, she opened Dee Lincoln Private Events in Uptown Dallas.

Lincoln is now back in the dining room greeting familiar faces and making new friends at Dee Lincoln Prime, located at the Star in Frisco. She has taken her expertise as a restauranteur, paired it with her knowledge and passion for fine wine and her new-found appreciation for sushi to create a truly unique dining experience.

Dee Lincoln, The Queen of Steaks, personally invites you to find out first-hand how she continues to make her mark on the restaurant industry.
