Dee Lincoln is a “Cajun Firecracker” born on the Fourth of July and raised in New Orleans. Her extensive achievements in the restaurant industry have earned her many local, regional and national awards. She has received the Texas Restaurant Association’s Restaurateur of the Year Award, Savor Dallas Spirit Award, Dallas Business Journals Top Women in Business Award, Northwood University Distinguished Woman Award, Nation’s Restaurant News Fine Dining Award and the coveted Restaurants and Institutions Ivy Award, which is voted on by peers from around the country, just to name a few. Recognized as a female powerhouse in the male dominated steakhouse business, she is now known as the “Queen of Steaks”.

Starting from humble beginnings in New Orleans, Del Frisco’s Steakhouse went from its Louisiana roots to expanding the concept to the Dallas area with 2 locations in the late 1980’s.

In 1993, she and then partner, Dale Wamstad, consolidated both their locations into one great location on Spring Valley Road; Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse.

In 1995, the duo sold to Lone Star Steakhouse, a publicly traded company. While her partner resigned, Co-Founder Lincoln remained with the company as the Vice President of Operations. Intrigued by CEO Jamie Coulter’s vision, she assisted in the expansion of the brand into Fort Worth, Denver, New York, and Las Vegas.

In 2006, the company went through the transition back to a private based company and continued expansion to Charlotte, Houston, and Philadelphia.

In 2009, Lincoln resigned after 30 plus years realizing an era had come to an end. However, she wasn’t done yet. In August of 2009, she launched the Dee Lincoln Brand with the debut of Dee Lincoln’s Tasting Room & Bubble Bar in the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium on the Silver Suite Level.  The state of the art wine and champagne lounge became the first of its kind located in a sports arena. Never one to stop moving, she also operates Dee Lincoln Events in Uptown Dallas for Private events.

Dee Lincoln Prime is now open at the Star in Frisco, allowing her to do what she does best. She will meet you in the Dining Room!
